Mary Ellen Bruce

Mary Ellen Bruce, age 72 of Xenia, passed away Friday, September 2, 2016 at Soin Medical Center. She was born in Cedarville, OH on March 28, 1944 to Frank Jones and Mary Margaret Harding, both of whom preceded her in death. She is survived by her children: Melinda S. Jones, Gail A. Miller and husband Michael, Roberta A. Bruce, Robert Bruce, Jr. and wife Michelle, Kimberly Cline and husband Adam, and William A. Bruce (Liz Dietsch). She is also survived by her brother, Clark J. Jones (Shane Conley), eleven grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was employed for many years as a nursing assistant at Hospitality Home East of Xenia. She was a kind-hearted and loving mother, sister and grandmother. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at the First Church of Christ, 441 Ledbetter Rd. Xenia, OH 45385 at 11:30 AM, with Pastor Mike Miller officiating. Friends may call at the church from 10:30 AM until the time of the funeral on Thursday.
