DEMOCKO, Mary Kay, age 54 of Kettering passed away peacefully Friday, June 18th, 2021 at her residence. Mary Kay was born on December 16th, 1966 in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Steve and Joan Scheetz Democko. She is survived by her brother, Greg Democko and numerous other relatives and friends. Mary Kay was a graduate of Struthers High School and the University of Dayton with a BS and MS degrees in Dietetics/Nutrition. She worked in numerous long-term care facilities during her career as a dietician, dutifully caring for and advocating for the residents. Mary Kay’s passion was working in her abundant flower gardens and providing for the numerous butterflies that came to visit. She enjoyed helping others by providing meals for those who needed them and through the Giving Tree at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
