I just found out from my supervisor about Mary passing. Please know that my heart goes out to you and your family! I used to work with Mary and while we worked together, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Mary was a very quiet woman, but when she found out what I was going through, she came to me and opened up and shared with me. She was so Strong!! My heart is broken!! I left the organization where she and I worked in Oct 09. I'm so sorry that I didn't know and wasn't there for her!! May God Be With You and Your Family.

Children and Family of Mary Drain, I worked with Mary at Wright-Patt for serveral years. She was truely a good friend and co-worker. Her great sense of humor and gentle disposition, even in her struggles, will not soon be forgotten. She always saw the bright side of things, and had a way of making me laugh. Someone else said it well...."we are ALL better people for having the opportunity to have known her!!!" My heart breaks for all her family. God's comfort and blessings on all of you during this difficult time.

My sisters have crazy fun memories of the things we all did together, good, bad and in the basement disco dancing with Mary Terese, Rita and Margeret. I hope it's steak night tonight in heaven. God bless Mary Terese and grant all our cousins the strength she showed us over the years. We smile just saying her name. Our deepest sympathy.

I have so many happy childhood memories of my sweet cousin Mary Terese. Playing "boutique," barbies and the summer "camp" she, Margaret & Rita did for my sisters and I. She was my cousin, babysitter, confirmation sponsor but more importantly an inspiration to me. I know Aunt Carm & Uncle Leonard welcomed her with open arms and are living in eternal peace together now. I know she will be truly missed by many. XOXOX

Mary and I worked in the Big Safari office.
Steve, we want to offer our sincere condolences on your family's loss. It with a great sense of sorrow to hear the news of Mary's passing. We can only imagine how difficult it has been for you and your family. Our hearts are truly saddened. This leaves a void in the hearts of all those who knew her.
As a fellow Clevelander, Mary always enjoyed the times I brought back a loaf of Alesci's bread for her (I think you snuck a few slices).
Mary was one of those people who was a breath of fresh air, that we always welcomed seeing her at every opportunity. Her infectious smile, hearty laugh and warm personality made her one of those special people that it was a joy to be around. Mary was truly a very sweet lady, and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you in the times ahead
Steve, our sincere thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.
With our deepest sympathy,
Bill and Dawn Kacvinsky, Beavercreek

My sincerest condolences to Steve and family. Mary was a wonderful friend, trusted colleague and one of those co-workers who made a lasting impression on me that still lingers long after I moved on. Her combination of attitude, humor, wit and straight-forward style were refreshing. Her contagious laugh was unique, her prankster mind was admired and I smile when I remember how she called me "Opie". She was a great person I was fortunate to have known and she will never be forgotten. My thoughts are with you.

Chief,
When hearing of Mary's passing, we felt great grief. But at the same time a wonderful feeling of peace; knowing she is now pain free and at peace--in the hands of our Lord. Her battle was courageous and inspiring; her strength and love for her family was evident throughout. We were blessed with an opportunity in simply knowing her. God Bless...
