
Hoffman, Mary L., age 94, of Centerville passed away Monday, March 12, 2012 at St. Leonard’s Care Center. Mary was born January 10, 1918 in Sabina, Ohio to the late Harold and Agatha ( Rapp) Ledbetter. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles F. Hoffman Jr. of over 60 years. She is also preceded in death by two children, Phyllis Jean and Jimmy Hoffman; two sisters, Martha ( Bill) Lyle and Jo ( Bill) Pond. She is survived by two children, Barbara K. Weaks of Dayton and Robert C. Hoffman of Lancaster OH; four grandchildren, Brian ( Jennifer) Stine, Jason Stine, Robert C. Hoffman Jr. (Michelle), Susan Jean Hoffman- Johnson (Bud): 2 nieces Sandy (Ray) Joyce and Patty (Robert) Ledford. Mary is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren and 1 great- great grandchild. Mary was a homemaker and was a member of South Park United Methodist Church for over 70 years of which she was also a member of the Women’s Society. She was a long time employee of Rike’s Department Store and she was retired after 25 years as secretary to the executive housekeeper at Kettering Memorial Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday March 24, 2012 at South Park United Methodist Church, 140 Stonemill Road Dayton, Ohio 45409. Reverend Tom Miller and Reverend Lori Reiber will officiate services. A private burial at Woodland Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
