Mary E James

JAMES, Mary E., age 74, of Beavercreek, passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years William James, parents Hobert and Virgie Brock, sisters Willa Dean Overturf, Earnestean Brock and Christean Madden, and brothers Clayton Brock and Ray Brock. She is survived by her daughters Tina James and Lisa James, grandchildren Dylan Goins, Derek Olsen and Austin Olsen, great-granddaughter Bailey Goins, sisters Helen Smith and Shirley (Junior) Bush, very special friend Mary DeLong, and numerous nieces, nephews, special neighbors and friends. Mary loved her job working for Beavercreek City Schools for over 30 years. She was kind, caring and enjoyed socializing. Mary was loved by family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. She especially loved her grandsons and great-granddaughter. Mary will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd. with interment to follow in Aley Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 pm – 7 pm on Wednesday, March 28. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or the Alzheimer’s Association.
