Nancy and family, I'm sorry to learn of Julie's death and under such difficult circumstances of these past few weeks for all of you. How fitting that she should die on a feast day of Mary as well as the anniversary date of her beloved husband. Now they are together again and what a joyous reunion that must be! May God's peace fill your loving and devoted hearts. I will always remember Julie as a warm, outgoing, upbeat person with a lot of enthusiasm for life. May she rest in peace.

I feel blessed to have known Julie as a volunteer in the Faith Formation Office, but also as a dear friend. I don't think it was coincidental that she passed on the same day as Leo. Though I had never met Leo, I felt like I knew him through the many lovely memories that Julie shared with us. I looked forward to our lunches in her beautiful home, and to her greeting me on Sunday mornings. She always sought me out before she went into church. I will miss my birthday cards with photos of somewhere she had visited. Her cursive handwriting was so beautiful. She volunteered in the Faith Formation Office for over 40 years. She was a pillar at St. Charles and generously gave of her time and gifts. Thank you Julie for sharing your life with us. Well done, good and faithful servant of our Lord.

It was my pleasure as well a blessing to be able to spend time with Julie. Although I only knew her for 11 months , she shared many memories about her life and family. At the end of each visit I asked her if she wanted to pray and she always replied enthusiastically YES. She was a gentle lady and a joy to those who knew her. My heartfelt condolences to all of her family. She loved all of you .

I was sorry to hear that Julie passed away, but I hope you will find comfort in the thought that she is with the Lord and in peace. I knew Julie from the neighborhood, and from St. Charles. (My last name used to be "Shirley.") I visited Julie twice at Oak Creek Terrace, once in the Fall , and once before Christmas in December 2019. Julie talked about her wonderful daughters, Nancy, and Joan. I enjoyed visiting Julie at Oak Creek Terrace. I will keep Julie's family in my prayers. May Chris's peace and love be with you always.
