Mary K. Lake

LAKE, Mary K. age 87 of Miamisburg passed away on Monday, June 17, 2013 at Hospice of Dayton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn J. Lake in May of 2011; a son-in-law, William C. Prinke in March of 2011; sister, Mildred Bell and brother, Thomas Swope. Survivors include her children, daughter, Mary K. Prinke of BelAir, Maryland; sons, James L. Lake (Carol Schaefer) of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, Daniel E. Lake of Miamisburg, Ohio, and William J. Lake of New Windsor, Maryland; 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Mary was born in Dayton, Ohio on July 17, 1925 to George E. and Mary B. (Finn) Swope. She was a graduate of the Good Samaritan School of Nursing in 1946 and began her career as a RN in which she continued until her retirement.
