Mary Maxine Parrett

Mary Maxine (Viars) Parrett, 90, of Beavercreek Township, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2025 at Trinity Community of Beavercreek. She was born in Rockcastle County, KY on March 18, 1935. Maxine, as she was affectionately known, is survived by her three children, Edward Jr. (Lisa Lord) Parrett, Roger (Jacalyn) Parrett, Angela (Steve) McCollum, sister Rebecca Fowler, brother Julian Viars, grandchildren Kristina, Sarah, Lauren, Lindsay, Courtney, Justin, Brittany, several great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years Edward Parrett, parents Thomas and Flossie Viars, brothers Lloyd, Leon, Alvin, sister Betty, and grandchild Anders. Services were held at Tobias Funeral Home and she was laid to rest at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery.
