Mary Kathleen Witt

WITT, Mary Kathleen, age 88 of Riverside, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Anna Rosella McCormick and sisters Rosie and Sally. She is survived by her husband of 62 years Jerry Witt, their 4 children Jerilyn (Kim) Weber, Dana Witt, Kathleen (John) Tappel, Steve (Beth) Witt, 16 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, siblings Marylyn, Jim and Denny and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary graduated from the College of St. Teresa in Winona, Minnesota with a B.A. in English and a minor in Spanish. She worked at St. Thomas College in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she met and married Jerry. She was in Civil Service at WPAFB for 25 years. She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church since 1964. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at St. Helen Catholic Church, celebrated by Fr. Dave Brinkmoeller. Internment will follow at Dayton National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:30 am until the start of Mass at 10:30 am on Tuesday, February 9.
