Gooch, Mattye L. age 92 formerly of Dayton, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 in Warren, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Lottie Lewis, sisters Maureen Simmons and Margie Helmick, and brothers Arlis Lewis and Amos Lewis. She is survived by her husband Charles E. Gooch, sons Ronald (Karen) Gooch, Mark (Penny) Gooch, Scott (Denise) Gooch, grandchildren Brandon, Seth, Crystal, Mark Jr., Rob, Alissa, Christina, Jason, 13 great-grandchildren, sisters Maymia Haggard, Maggie Wilson, Myrtle Mooneyham and Sue Haston. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, October 20, 2014 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd. with Pastor Penny Gooch officiating. Interment will follow in Valley View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 until the time of services on Monday, October 20.
