Mella V. McKinnon, age 92 of Beavercreek, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025. Mel was preceded in death by her first husband Aaron Bryan Taulbee, her second husband, of 30 years, James H. McKinnon, son Greg Taulbee, daughter Rhonda Walter, and siblings Hagar, Burt, and Florence. She is survived by her son Jeff (Myra)Taulbee, grandchildren Joselyn, Megan, Erin (Patrick) and Lauren (Greg), great-grandchildren Seth, Oliver, Cameron and Mason, sister Edie Large, son-in-law Brian Walter, and niece Marilyn (Dennis) Duffy. Mel worked for Ohio Bell for over 33 years. Following retirement, Mel and Jim began to roam the country extensively in their motorhome and traveled to nearly every US state while enjoying each other's company. Funeral services will be held at 12 PM on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at the Tobias Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel. Interment will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
