FORSYTH, Melvin H. Sr., age 100, passed away Monday, January 23, 2012 at Elmcroft of Xenia. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Jennie Forsyth; his loving and devoted wife of 76 years, Margaret Forsyth; their infant son, Gary Lee, and 10 siblings. Melvin is survived by his children, Melvin Forsyth, Jr., Rita Whitley and Tom (Leslie) Forsyth, Sr.; grandchildren, Michelle Whitley, Stephanie Whitley and Tom (Krista) Forsyth, Jr.; 3 great-grandchildren, Jacob, Lindsey and Claire Forsyth; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:30 PM Saturday, January 28, 2012 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall. Interment at Woodland Cemetery. His family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until the time of services Saturday at the funeral home.
