Michael William Hodits passed away on August 11, 2026, at the age of 54. Born on September 10, 1971, in Dayton, Ohio. Michael spent his early years in Dayton. He lived many years in Chandler, AZ. Recently he divided his time between Dayton and Russia, OH.
Michael served in the United States Army and was proud of his military service.
He loved all kinds of music and was always listening to something.
He was a member of the Minster Eagles 1391 and AMVETS Post 66 in Covington, OH.
Michael worked for many years as an on the air D.J.. He also worked in customer service with Circle K and also at Chandler Regional Medical Center.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Michael E. Hodits. He is survived by his mother, Gail Hodits; brother, Mark Allen Hodits; and by special friend, Dina Marchal.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 27, 2026 from 8:30 am to 9:30 am at Tobias Funeral Home, 5471 Far Hills Ave. Funeral services will follow visitation, beginning at 9:30 am. Burial with military honors will follow in Dayton National Cemetery.
