Mike and I played baseball together in the early 1970’s. He was a great pitcher! So glad we were on the same team so I didn’t have to bat against him. We used to ride our bikes to Eastwood Lake/park and spend the day fishing. Great times with a great person. Always positive with a smile! We lost touch after HS, but I see that he continued to be the same positive person that I knew. Miss you my Friend!!

My condolences to the family so sorry for your loss. The memory of Mike that most sticks out in my head is way way back in our younger years a group of us went to the movies to see American werewolf in London. In the middle of the movie Bob and Chris started laughing. I look over and there sits Mike in a werewolf mask. People were definitely looking at him and he was totally enjoying it.

Mike was such a great inspiration to many people. Mike was one of my mail carriers in Beavercreek and he always had the best attitude no matter the situation. He made me laugh in some of the worst days. Every time I needed to go to Mike with some help, he always told me "whatever you need". Mike could make anyone laugh with his great sense of humor. We have lost a truly great ambassador to life! Mike's inspiration has made an impact on my life and I will miss him. I'm sure he is letting God know he was the greatest mail carrier ever. Rest in Peace Mike, you will be missed.

Mike, I know we were never the best of friends. but all the same, I did consider you my friend. I wish I had told you how much I appreciated you, and had thanked you for your kindness. you never passed judgement when so many have. I will always love you for just being you. I miss you already. "You just don't know what you've got till it's gone." I bet you would know all the words to that song. You have touched my heart. I hope you realize just how much you were loved. Thank you for everything. my prayers go out to the family for their loss.

Mike was one of the best people I knew. He was SO full of happiness and light especially when he was with his children and grandchildren! He always put others before himself and did such nice things for me- Lauren’s friend. He had the best advice and he never stopped smiling! I am greatful to know such a beautiful person. Rest In Peace Mr. Lush.

Dear Mike
You are dearly missed. I can’t put it into words as to why this life can be so unfair. On this side of Heaven, we have to endure certain things that we have no control over. Fight battles that we don’t deserve. We aren’t promised a life without struggle. Or hardships. But we are promised that through those hardships, through the pain and suffering, that we are not alone. God’s promise to all who believe in His son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, shall not perish but have EVERLASTING life! You endured so much in so little time, Mike. But you did it with such grace!

What an amazing example you are as to what it truly means to be Christ-like. You have been restored! You have been made new! So rise up, my friend...because this isn’t the end. Your life has just begun.

Mike made every room he walked into instantly better. He was without a doubt one of the best people I've ever met.

I'm so sorry to all of us who have lost this fantastic man, but especially sorry to his family. As much as he touched my life I can only imagine what he did for those he was closest to. I hurt for you all and this world hurts for the loss of this amazing man.

I'll never forget you, Mike Lush and will always miss you.

Mike and Chris were both my neighbors growing up on Northdale and I will always remember their Halloween antics and the ghost that would fly across the street between their two houses . Rest In Peace Mike
