I had the pleasure of working with Mike over the past year on the Final Clarifiers project at the City of Dayton Water Reclamation facility, I as a consulting engineer and Mike as the supervisor for the electrical contractor. Mike always approached the project as a team effort, where we were all team members, regardless of which entity signed our paycheck. And when there was a problem, Mike never pointed fingers, he just dug in and worked with us to figure things out. He certainly disproved the notion that engineers and electrical contractors are natural adversaries!! Mike was a genuinely nice guy - and a fine example of professionalism for the electricians that worked for him. He will be missed!

Just can't believe Mike is not with us any longer. My prayers go out to all the family and friends who are going to desperately miss him. He was a "fun guy" Always seemed happy, no matter what ! Our family spent a lot of time with him when he and Mike Haws were in school together. He was like a son - he would call me his "second Mom" when I saw him at the Moose.
Loved all the pictures with his many family members and friends !

God Bless Him and Keep Him ! Loved you Mike,

Mike and I worked together at NEWCO in 1985. He was a skilled craftsmen and a good person. We shared some good times at work and after work at the Oregon Express. I recall selling him my Grand Prix. My sympathies to his family and those who remember him. Rest in peace my friend. Denny Wells IBEW Local 82
