Michael Manning

Michael B. Manning, age 79, of Beavercreek, Ohio passed away at The Patterson Senior Living Center on January 17, 2026. He was born on February 02, 1946, in Evansville, Indiana to the late Richard J. and Wanda Lee (Hayhurst) Manning. Alongside his parents he is preceded in death by his loving wife Margaret Ann (Phillips) Manning.

Michael is survived by his Children; Andrew (Melissa) Manning, Joseph (Alicia) Manning, Grandchildren; Rachel Manning, Madelyn Manning, Eva Manning, Mia Manning, Jace Manning, Billie Manning, Brothers; Richard (Gail) Manning, Patrick Manning, and many nieces and nephews.

Michael was a 1964 graduate of Chaminade High School in Dayton, Ohio. He went on to graduate from The University of Dayton in 1968 with a bachelor’s degree. After college Michael joined the U.S. Air Force and served active duty from 1969 to 1993. During his time in the Air Force, he served in Vietnam and later retired as a Lt. Colonel. Michael was also a lifelong Dayton Flyers Basketball Fan. He will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

The family would like to thank The Patterson of Beavercreek where Michael lived and received memory care for almost 2 years as well as Day-City Hospice for their wonderful help during his final days.

A visitation will be held on February 13, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Tobias Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Beavercreek, Ohio. A funeral service will follow starting at 11:00 AM.
