Michael Patrick McLain

McLain, Michael Patrick, age 59, of Fairborn, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2013, after a brief battle with leukemia. Mike was born on March 17, 1954 to Wanda (Shemwell) McLain, who survives and the late Richard McLain. In addition to his mother he is survived by his loving family; his wife, Mindee; two loving daughters, Heather and Sarah; his granddaughter, Sophie; his sisters and brothers, Danny (Marilyn) McLain, Gail (Mark) Hopkins, Ginny (Tim) Lindsey, Scott McLain; aunts and uncles, Bill (Barb) Shemwell, Marjorie Shemwell; step-daughters, Danielle and Destiny. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Mike worked at Delphi for 28 years. Mike generously donated his body to Ohio State University Medical Center for medical research. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, July 26, 2013, at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road. A Memorial Service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Lonnie Bocook officiating.
