Mildred A. Miller

MILLER, Mildred A., age 84 passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Mildred Patterson; sister and brother-in-law Roberta (Robert) Lawrence; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Carl and Eleanor Miller and husband Richard Miller of 59 years. Mildred is survived by her daughters and sons-in-laws Janet and Michael Fisher and Joanne and Mark Denlinger; grandchildren, Samantha (Fisher) and husband Grant Stevens, Jonathan and fiancée Cassie and Brian Denlinger; great-grandchildren, Alexander Stevens and Scarlett Denlinger as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was a long time member of Peace Lutheran Church and a Koinonia group. Mildred was also an active amateur radio operator (N8EYA) with her husband Richard (N8CBU). Mildred had a lifelong passion for nursing as a primary care nurse, nurse educator, and hospital volunteer. The family would like to thank many faithful friends, the staff of Trinity and Hospice of Dayton for their support. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Monday, June 10, 2013 at Peace Lutheran Church, 3530 Dayton- Xenia Rd. The family will receive friends from 9am until the time of services at Peace Lutheran Church with final resting place with her husband at Woodland Cemetery.
