

GROSJEAN, Miriam, a long-time resident of Kettering, went home to be with Our Lord on December 8, 2014 after 94 years of a fruitful and productive life. She was a daily Communicant for most of her life and a long-time member of St. Charles Borromeo Church, where she sang in the choir, and attended and led numerous healing ministries and prayer groups. She lived at and served the St. Leonard Senior Living Community in Centerville for four years and was under their care for the last five years of declining health. Miriam authored five books of spiritual messages that she received from her Lord over a period of years (published by Our Lady of Light Publications). She also worked as an administrative assistant for DESC in Dayton, retiring in 1982. She had many friends and was loved for her kind and gentle spirit, and her ministry to others. Miriam is survived by her four sons, David and wife Ginger of Albuquerque, NM, Dennis and wife Connie of Dayton, Douglas and wife Deby of Corralitos, CA, and Darryl and wife Sandy of Basalt, CO; 6 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous caring family members including a devoted, loving niece, Sharon Bayer of Dayton. Miriam was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and a sister. Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 12, 4 – 7 pm at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME—FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave., Dayton. A short viewing will be held Saturday, 9:00 am at St. Leonard Church, 8100 Clyo Rd, Centerville followed by a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:00 am.
