Mitchell R. Szakal, age 44 of Beavercreek, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 21, 2017 at his home. He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Szakal, in 2015. He is survived by his father, Nick Szakal of Beavercreek, and a sister, Suzie Szakal-Chapman of Kettering. He is also survived by his adoring niece and nephew, Piper and Kiefer Chapman, and a large and loving family, as well as his extended family at the King’s Table Bar and Grill in Beavercreek, where he was the kitchen manager and had worked for ten years. Mitch was a devoted son, brother and uncle who loved any kind of music, especially a live Phish show.
