Dear Parminder & family:
Our apologies for being so late in expressing our grief on the passing away of Mr. Brar.  We were out of here and got disconnected .  Please accept our apologies.  We were so surprised and upset on losing our dear friend that there are no words to express our grief and sadness.  He was such a wonderful man that it is hard to forget him. We can only feel how  deeply it must have effected you and the entire family.  All I remember is some glowing moments of his life that he shared with every one of us.    His welcoming the guests on your daughter's wedding  and the attention he paid to individual guests, and his presentation of families at the wedding of his son are still fresh in ,my memory.   His cheerful manners and warm feelings towards whosoever shook hands with him and his twinkling eyes still seem as if he was present with us right now.  It will take a long  time to forget him.  As a matter of fact he would never be forgotten .     The sad part of it all is that this life is not worth living .  All of us are moving slowly but surely to the same exit.   Shall we remember him  then  if we meet him again?    His was the personality that cannot be obliterated from memory.   Please convey our feeling and grief to all the friends and the family.

I was just became aware of the sad news. I met the Professor during a conference and was immediately captivated by his knowledge and respect he had for others. Later, as he spent his sabbaticals with us in Cambridge, I was humbled and honored to work with him and be educated by him. I consider myself privileged for knowing Dr. Brar. We met Brar ji and family in London,On. in 1972.We had family like relationship with them.Big shock to hear the sad news.Our condolences to Parminder and children.May God grant peace to the departed soul

I first met Dr Brar when he visited Chandigarh in 2011 for a conference. He was such a Charming personality always having a smile on his face. He helped us a lot by sharing his technical expertise & knowledge. I am shocked to hear this sad news. May God grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the family to bear this colossal loss.

Dr. Brar was a loving, soft spoken, sincere and a true gentleman. we have very fond memories with him. We will miss him very much. Our sincere sympathy for Brar family.

 Nav and Sandeep We are sad to hear about your father.  Although we didn't know him well he must have been a nice man because he raise such a nice daughter and son.  From what Heather has said about him he doted on his grandchildren  and we know he will be missed.   The memories you have of him will become priceless treasures that no one will ever be able to take away from you.  Our deepest sympathy goes out to you
