

DUNNICK, Nancy Lee, age 87 of Kettering, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Melissa Jones Routzahn and grandson, Bryan Johnson. She is survived by her children, Donna (Mike) DeBrosse, Diana Yohner (Bob Duffy), Chuck Dunnick (Lisa Mack), Leslie Anne Dunnick, and Rayelynne (Gary) Ketchum; 11 grandchildren – Jeremy, Margo, Carly, Summer, Miranda, Wendy, Chris, Chuck, Brooke, Clayton, and Andrew; ten great grandchildren; two sisters, June Overholser (William, deceased) and Joan Pratt (Richard, deceased) and loving nieces and nephews. Nancy was a graduate of Fairmont High School and attended the University of Dayton. After raising five children, she became a Unit Clerk/Monitor Tech at St. Elizabeth Hospital where she enjoyed a career for more than 20 years. She was a charter member of Christ Church United Methodist and remained active for more than six decades; she sang in the choir and spent countless hours volunteering for church ministries as well as community outreach. Continuing her passion for music, Nancy played clarinet in both the Kettering Civic and Centerville Community Bands, and sang in a lady’s choral group. Because of her generosity, kindness and lifelong commitment to serving others, she enjoyed an abundance of special friendships and was loved by many. As the center of our family, our lives were deeply enriched in every way; she will forever be in our hearts and memories and dearly missed. Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
