Nancy Carolyn Ferguson

August 11, 1943 – November 9, 2025

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Nancy Ferguson, of Dayton, Ohio, who left us peacefully on Sunday, November 9, 2025, after battling chronic kidney disease, congestive heart failure, and pneumonia. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth, strength, and love will be cherished forever.

Born on August 11, 1943, Nancy lived a life filled with compassion, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family. She was known for her kindness, her caring heart, and her ability to make everyone feel at home. She found joy in being with her family and friends, and her presence brought comfort and light to everyone who knew her.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Claramarie (Brunett) Hofele, her daughter Mary, her son David, her daughter Darlene, and her sisters Cynthia and Jackie. She is survived by her loving brother Joe Hofele; her children Denise, Darren, and Dawn; and her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchild, who will continue to carry her memory in their hearts.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 14, 2025, at Calvary Cemetery, 1625 Calvary Drive. A visitation will be held at the Tobias Funeral Home-Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet Avenue from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, November 13, 2025, where family and friends will gather to honor and celebrate her life.

Her family will forever remember her as the heart of their family and a source of endless love and strength.
