GLANTON, Naomi “Betty” E. Buehler, age 99 of Centerville, passed away on March 21, 2018. Preceded in death by her first husband William F. Buehler; second husband George D. Glanton; daughter Shirley E. Leyes; parents Elmer W. J. and Nora Stein; grandson Matthew William Buehler; and sisters: Mary Combs, Margaret Rhoades, Mildred Clem, and Pauline Binns. Betty is survived by her son William F. Buehler; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; 1 great-great-great grandchild; sisters-in-law Ginny Glanton; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Betty retired from Graeff Hardware, also worked at Ryan Hardware in Kettering for 10 years, and managed Frost Top Restaurant. She was a member of the DP&L Retires Club, Historical Societies of Belmont, Beavercreek, Clearcreek, and Riverview. She worked at the Board of Election for 25 years, was a member of the Lathrem Senior Center, and was an active member of Belmont Eastern Stars #555. Betty was a long time member of Church of the Cross. The Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM, Wednesday, March 28th, 2018 at Tobias Funeral Home, Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet Ave with Rev. John Whittaker officiating. Friends may visit at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 4-7 PM. Burial in Miami Valley Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
