Norma Jean Rudy

Rudy,Norma Jean passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2013. Norma is preceded in death by her husband Norman; brother Willis Ray Jr.; sister Mary Ellen Coss; and son-in-law Keith Holbrook. Norma is survived by her sister Noraetta Brehm (Richard); sons and daughters Steve Mustard, Teresa Holbrook, Susan LaSota (Frank), and John Rudy; grandchildren Audrey and Cady Holbrook, Betsy Engels (Chris), Amy Mowbray (Adam), Michael Anthony, Megan Abrams (Adam), and Alison Rudy; and great grandchildren, Kensi Engels, Caroline and Graham Mowbray, and Garrett and Addison Abrams. Before her retirement, Norma was a long-time employee of Greene County. She was an avid morel mushroom hunter and a homemade noodle- and guacamole-maker extraordinaire. She loved spending time with her family, attending grandchildren’s soccer, dance, and other activities, as well as planting a summer garden and mowing “the back 40” on her riding lawnmower. A gathering of family and friends will be held to celebrate Norma’s life at Tobias Funeral Home -Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road on Friday, December 20, 2013 from 5-7pm.
