Pamera “Pam” Vest was born June 21st, 1953, in Dayton, OH, the daughter of the late Aaron N. Vest and Edna K. Vest. She attended Beavercreek High School and built a long and fulfilling career, working for Elder-Beerman and US Airways before retiring from Kettering Medical Center as the network coordinator for the neurology lab.
Pam was a member of Parkview Church of the Nazarene and found great joy and meaning in her faith, family, and friendships. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend whose warmth and spirit touched the lives of many.
Outside of work and family, Pam had a deep love for music, dancing, traveling, and spending time at the beach. She embraced life and cherished the memories made along the way, especially those shared with the people she loved.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Aaron N. Vest and Edna K. Vest.
She is survived by her sons, Aaron Vest of Dayton, Ohio, and Andrew Vest of Los Angeles, California; her sister, Peggy Penrod (Wayne) of Dayton, Ohio; her brother, Steven Vest of Mount Pleasant, Michigan; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Pam will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, the joy she found in life, and the lasting memories she created with those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 5th at 12:00 PM at Tobias Funeral Home in Dayton, OH. Burial will follow in the David’s Cemetery in Dayton, OH. We invite friends and family to visit Monday, October 5th from 10:00 AM until the time of funeral service at Tobias Funeral Home, 5471 Far Hills Ave, Dayton, OH.
