Adams, Patricia Anne Cravens, age 86, born Lexington, KY, died Fri Dec 7 in her Miami Township, OH home. Patricia is survived by Sandy (Jim) Carter, Steve (Susan) Reaves, Shari Erb, Scott Reaves (deceased), Stewart Reaves (deceased), Shirley Isaacs, Shawn (Felicia) Reaves, Dee Dee (John) Giordullo, Tim (Tracey) Adams, Mark (Judy) Adams, Dan (Gail) Adams, and nearly 70 grand and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by beloved husband of 32 years, Patrick Adams, and first husband of 27 years, Thomas Reaves. Born April 15, 1932 to Gilbert and Hazel Davis Cravens, Patricia graduated class president of St. Catherine’s Academy and received a full music scholarship to Transylvania University. But rather than attend college, decided to raise a big family. A lifelong performer, she acted with Lexington Children’s Theatre (1930s), sang on stage as a child with Louis Armstrong (Joyland Park, Lexington), was a founding member of the Central Kentucky Youth Symphony Orchestra (1948), and served as a church organist/pianist for over four decades. Patricia lived in faith, dearly loved her family, and lived the example, Live! Love! Laugh! She had a keen intellect and varied interests such as reading, Jeopardy, tournament bridge (often with Red Hat Society ladies), and Keeneland. Perhaps most importantly, “Nana Pat,” taught everyone how to play and live life to the fullest, especially when facing adversity. Mass of Christian Burial 11 am Wed Dec 12, 2018 at ST.
