Patricia Ruth Adamson

ADAMSON, Patricia Ruth, age 83, Saturday, November 22, 2014 entered the arms of Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior. Pat has always been active in children’s welfare and church activities. She was a very talented artist of paintings and other crafts. She was also involved in various women’s groups. Pat’s main concern was being a faithful caring wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends both in the Dayton Ohio and Springfield Tennessee areas. She is preceded in death by her mother Carrie Anderson and father Clifford Summerell, brother William ”Bill” Summerell, and sister Betty Friess. Pat is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Joe T. Adamson of Miamisburg, son Steven (Tina) Adamson of Hollywood, FL., daughter Pamela Jo Miller of Grove City, OH., and daughter Pamela Jean(Doug)Boedeker of Washington, Court House, OH., seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Pat’s family wishes to extend special thanks to her caregivers from Touching Hearts at Home, Vitas Hospice of Dayton and Columbus for the kindness and compassion that was shown. In lieu of flowers contributions may be given in Pat’s memory to the Springfield Baptist Church 400 N. Main St. Springfield, TN 37172. Family to receive friends Wednesday, November 26, 2014 from 10:30AM to 12:30PM at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-Far Hills Chapel. Funeral service 1:00PM Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home and Memorial Park; with burial to follow.
