Patricia Ann Brown

BROWN, Patricia Ann, age 79 of Beavercreek, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 16, 2014. She was born to the late Frederick R. and Nancy E. Zook in Roaring Spring, PA. She is preceded in death by her brothers, David Zook, John Zook; sister-in-law, Nancy Zook, and brother-in-law, Bob Besnoska. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Robert Brown; sons, Kenneth (Joyce) Brown of Sturgis, KY, David (Ronald) Brown-Gray of Kings Mills, OH, Frederick (Rachel) Brown of Franklin, IN; daughter, Susan (Robert) Ackerman of Huber Heights, OH; ex-daughter-in-law, Jeanette Gademer of Cincinnati, OH;grandchildren, Jennifer (Thomas) Rice, Lucas Ackerman, Derrick (Ashley) Brown, Elizabeth Brown; twin great-granddaughters, Violet and Ruby Rice; brother, George (Marjorie) Zook of Bel Air, MD; sisters, Mary (Joseph) Onheiser of Baltimore, MD, Esther Besnoska of Baltimore, MD and numerous nieces and nephews. Patricia learned cake decorating in 1963 and turned her talent into a business. She enjoyed making wedding and birthday cakes for friends and family. She was a member of East Dayton Baptist Church since 1970 and The Gideons Auxiliary. She taught children’s Sunday School and VBS. Patricia was a loving and selfless wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at the East Dayton Baptist Church, 1380 Spaulding Rd., Riverside, OH with Pastor Brian Kershaw officiating. Interment will follow in Valley View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive relatives and friends from 5 pm – 8 pm on Friday, June 20, 2014 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton–Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd., Beavercreek, OH, as well as a visitation at the church from 10 am until the time of services.
