Patricia A. Gillespie

GILLESPIE, Patricia A. (Ewell), age 79 of Dayton, passed away on Friday, May 11, 2012. She was born November 22, 1932 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Della and Warren Ewell. Pat graduated from Fairview High School class of 1950. She worked at Rike’s Department store in the early 50’s where she met Juanita Rose who introduced her to her brother, James (Dick) Gillespie, whom she married in 1951. Patricia is preceded in death by her husband Dick and sister, Lucy Puterbaugh. She is survived by her 3 children; Gary (Nancy), Rhonda Gillespie-Albert (Mark) and Scott (Paula). Pat was blessed with 5 grandchildren; Jennifer, Jason, Matthew, Ronald P. and Caitlyn and 2 great-grandchildren; Kaylee and Nora. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of 10 Wilmington Place, Walnut Creek Nursing Center and Hospice of Dayton for making her last year and months very pleasant. A memorial gathering will be held at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME- BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3070 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd., on May 19 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
