Patricia Dawn Kennard

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, wife, daughter, friend, and grandmother, Trish Kennard, who peacefully left us on November 9th 2025. She was 52 years old.

Trish was a kind and loving soul whose heart touched everyone who knew her. She dedicated her life to her family, always putting their needs before her own. As a wife, she was a steadfast partner to Donald Kennard , sharing a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support. As a mother, she was a source of boundless love and wisdom to Derek Short, Kyle Short and Madelyn Short, guiding them with a gentle hand and a warm heart. Trish was also considered a bonus mom to Allison, Michael and Mia.

Making each moment together special, to her friends, she was a loyal and caring confidante, always ready with a listening ear or a helping hand.

Trish was born on January 1st in 1973, to Laura Van Zant (Placke) and Darnel Matias. She lived a life full of grace, kindness, and selflessness. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she carried it with her in every action and interaction.

A viewing will take place at 10:00 AM on November 14, 2025 at Immaculate Conception Church. Following the viewing, a Mass will be held, and the services will continue at Woodland Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest. We invite all who knew and loved Trish Kennard to join us in celebrating her life and legacy.
