Paul Mewbuorn

MEWBUORN, Paul Lee age 95, passed away peacefully at his home on 02/17/2022. He was born in Illinois on 04/22/1926 to parents Arthur and Jessie (Williams) Mewbuorn who preceded him in death. Also preceding Paul in death was his wife Edna “Kathleen” Mewbuorn and daughters Paulette Finley, Karen Mewbuorn, grandson Randall Sturgill and son-in-law, Gary Sturgill.

He is survived by his daughter, Bonnie Sturgill; grandchildren Steven Finley, Shennell Nuckles (Duane), Shawna Abbott (Jason) and Curtis Sturgill (Anne); and 10 great grandchildren.

Paul was a loving husband, father and grandfather. His laughter and smile will be missed by many.

He is a past member of the Central Church of the Nazarene for over 65 years and a US Navy WWII Veteran. Paul worked at Dayton Tire and Rubber until their closing; Genuine Auto Parts until retiring and then assisted his son-in-law Gary in a roofing business.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 7 2022 at the Tobias Funeral Home, 3970 Dayton Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
