I just learned of Pete's passing in the local news and wanted to express my deep condolences. Pete was in my Basic Cadet Training squadron at the Academy so we got to know each other well. I also ran into him again at Dyess AFB. He was a great guy and one of the nicest people I had the pleasure to know. I'm so sorry for your loss. If you need any help at all, feel free.

Dear Livingston Family~

We members of the Foster Community from Pete's childhood and school days are stunned and heartbroken.  Though it has been many years since those days, it's quite evident that the friendliness, honorability, and love of nature that Pete possessed in his younger years was enhanced tenfold and shared with the world--most passionately, it appears, with its young people.

There is a profound sadness that comes from learning of the loss of a friend from your childhood--your roots.  Know that, though the phrase "great man" is often used at times like this, we all feel, and know, that it is truly and wholly applicable to Peter.  I am so very sorry for your loss and may you all find peace in his ongoing love for you and his life so well-lived.

I have known Pete for a fairly short time, but in that time he had become a friend.  Through various Geocaching adventures I have come to know Pete as an adventure-seeking man who was fearless, fun, and friendly.  He was always smiling and never had a bad word for anybody.  I will miss seeing him on the trails or at the events as spending time with him always left me with a smile.

Sorry to hear about Pete's passing. Pete and I were in 32 squadron and I considered him a dear friend. Your father/husband/son was a good man. He definitely left us too soon, but some things we cannot control. We will miss him.

I'm so sorry to hear about Pete. I've often thought of him over the years from our days as Doolies in CS-32 and flying together in the 774th at Dyess. I just learned of Pete's passing through the USAFA notification system and wanted to express my deep condolences.  I do not fully appreciate the range of emotions you now feel, but I pray for peace to come your way in the coming weeks and months. How sad.  Pete and I were squadron friends in CS40 and he was one of the best guys I knew at the Academy.  Sandy is a great gal and the entire family is in my prayers as they struggle to come to terms with this loss.

My heart is heavy with sadness and grief.  Pete was a wonderful human being with so much to offer to all of us.  He is such an inspiration to people, to get up and get out and enjoy life!  I enjoyed my time teaching with him immensely!  Pete will truly be missed.

I will have Pete and his family in my prayers.  Pete was a wonderful guy at The Academy and I see that even in his passing he was pursuing life as I remember he did from years ago.
