Phyllis Jane Amann
February 24, 1935 – May 24, 2021
Amann, Phyllis J. (nee Clevelle), age 86 of Dayton, OH, passed away Monday May 24, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas J. Amann, her mother Betty Fatkins(Joe), her father Jeff Clevelle(Judy), sisters Betsy Singer and Kathy Baker and son-in-law James Napier. Phyllis is survived by children Lori Todd Grote, Kim Todd Vidler (Dan), Angelina Amann Napier, Roseann Amann Lange(August) and Dr. Robert Amann; a sister Joyce Clevelle Yancey(Ty); 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Phyllis graduated from Wilbur Wright HS and attended Miami University of Ohio. Through the years, she was active in the PTA, Miller’s Blackhawk parent association and her beloved Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. Phyllis and Tom spent 25 years in Fairfield Glade, TN where they were founding members of Christ Lutheran Church. Arrangements are in the care of Tobias Funeral Home - Far Hills Chapel. Phyllis was a wonderful lady who had a lasting impact on countless Zeta Tau Alpha's. Because of her tutelage I was blessed to serve Zeta and other organizations as a leader. Job well done, my sister! ZLAM

Your Mom was a great friend and will dearly be missed. Her leadership and direction for the Waterford Players has changed my life in such wonderful ways. Phyllis will always be remembered.
