Over the past year, I have come to know Phyllis through my mother, Jo McD. They were roomies that became fast friends and who looked out for each other. I'll never forget walking into their room one day and seeing their beautiful heads huddled together over a puzzling task they were determined to solve. Phyllis was so respectful, and such a lovely lady. I am so thankful for the time my mother had with her, and the comfort it brought me knowing momma had such a special and dear friend. I know mother misses her so very much already. God Bless.

I am saddened and feel broken. My Aunt Phyllis was an amazing woman. She gave freely and unselfishly. Her and my Uncle Virg tirelessly helped my parents build a baseball park which still stands today. She had a contagious laugh that was like no other. Never once did I hear her complain about anything or anyone. Aunt Phyllis was a lady filled with faith and goodness. She always gave of herself, as a wife, mother and aunt and Grandmother. She was my pillar of strength when my mother, her sister passed. I am blessed to have had her in my life, and I will never forget her. Rest peacefully with your husband and family Aunt Phyllis. I love you, you will be forever missed.
