Randall Lee LaFountain Jr.

Randall “Randy” Lee LaFountain Jr., age 47, of Fairborn, Ohio passed away at Soin Medical Center on January 10, 2024. He was born on October 31, 1976 to Cynthia and Randall LaFountain Sr. Randy is preceded in death by his father Randall LaFountain Sr. and his beloved dog Rowdy.

Randy is survived by his mother; Cynthia LaFountain, children; Stephany, Ryan, Cory, Izzy, Mikayla, grandchildren; Harley, Magnolia, brothers; Daryl (Kim) LaFountain, Chris (Bethany) LaFountain, sister; Gwyn (Dan) LaFountain, his long-time girlfriend; Rachel LeMaster, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and his dog Buddy.

Randy was an avid outdoorsman with a particular love for fishing and bushcraft. His love for fishing saw him achieve Master Angler status in Ohio for many years. He was a hard worker who enjoyed tinkering and mentoring others and was always willing to go out of his way to help those in need. He was also a master of the “deal”, and loved to go to garage sales, flea markets, and estate sales.

Randy was an animated storyteller and loved to make people laugh. He appreciated a good cup of coffee to start his day, and an ice-cold Mountain Dew to get him through the rest. Randy enjoyed watching anime to relax and unwind after a long day. He loved being a grandpa and enjoyed spending time with his family. Randy will be truly missed by all those who knew, and loved, him.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2024 from 2:00-6:00 pm at C.I. Beaver Hall 3696 Highmont St. Beavercreek, Ohio 45432.
