Raymond Anthony Stites

Raymond was born on September 3, 1984, to Rodney and Sheryl Stites. He is survived by his loving mother, Sheryl Stites; his siblings Rodney Stites (Chris and Gabe), Robin Kuhn (Brandon, Eli, Griffin, and Noah), Robert Stites (Katrina, Kinzie, Jalen, and Kalani), Rachel Stites (Carter and Julius), and Randy Stites. He is also survived by his fiancée, Amber Loveless; his children Cameron, Dustin, and Cain; his stepchildren Caitlyn and Landyn; and many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly.

To know Raymond was truly to love him. He had a generous heart and cared deeply for the people around him. The family he was surrounded by meant everything to Raymond, and he cherished every moment spent with those he loved most. His presence brought warmth, comfort, and laughter, and he had a way of making people smile.

Raymond will be remembered for his deep love of animals—especially dogs—his contagious laughter, and the countless memories he created with family and friends. His loss is heartbreaking and leaves an ache that words cannot fully express. He will be missed every single day.

Raymond was loved beyond measure, and his absence is felt profoundly. We take comfort in believing that our dad was there to welcome him home, and that Raymond is now at peace.

Visitation will be held at Tobias Funeral Home - Far Hills Chapel, 5471 Far Hills Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45429, on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, followed by a Celebration of Raymond's Life at 4:00 pm. Final resting place will be Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 West Third Street, Dayton, Ohio 45428 at a later date.
