
Raymond F. “Ray” Zuelke, age 79, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at The Hospice of Dayton after a lengthy illness. Ray was born in Toledo, OH on August 10, 1931 to the late Frank & Mamie Zuelke. He graduated from Toledo University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. He worked as an instructor at Arthur Murray Dance Studio where he met his wife of nearly 54 years, Marguerite. They owned and operated Manor wine Cellar for 16 years, while he worked as a systems analyst. Ray was a member of Incarnation Parish. He enjoyed raising beagles, woodworking, photography, travel and was a wine connoisseur. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Joe and Frank, Jr. Ray is survived by his wife, Marguerite; sons, Karl (Elizabeth), Phillip (Marlies), and Eric Zuelke; grandchildren, Natalie, Evan and Adam and extended family. Family will receive friends today, Thursday, June 2, from 5:00p.m.-8:00p.m. at the Tobias Funeral Home-Far Hills Chapel, 5471 Far Hills Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00a.m. Friday, June 3, at the Church of the Incarnation, 55 Williamsburg Lane, Centerville. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Toledo, OH. In lieu of flowers, tributes in Ray’s memory may be made to The Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, OH 45420.
