Richard L. Butcher

Butcher, Richard L., age 92, of Dayton, passed away Monday, November 11, 2013 at Wellington at Dayton. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Trula (Hull) Butcher; daughter, Beverly Hartman of Kettering; grandchildren, Melissa (Chris) Corwin of Eaton, Todd (Janine) Hartman of Texas; great grandchildren, Symantha Corwin, Amanda Spitler, Christopher Hartman; great great grandchildren, Jesse Corwin, Jagger Corwin, and Jackson Spitler. He was a veteran of WWII in the Army-Air Corp; member of the Alpha Lodge #729 F & AM; retired from Himes Brothers Meadow Gold Dairy, Dayton, Ohio; and a member of the VFW Post #9927. His love was old cars and restorations of cars from the 1930’s through the 1950’s. Friends may call at the Wellington at Dayton, 2656 West Alex Bell Road, Dayton, Ohio 45459 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2013, with a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. Services in care of Tobias Funeral Home- Far Hills Chapel.
