

Rodesky, Richard, age 75, of Beavercreek, OH passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at the Trinity Community of Beavercreek. He was born in Fairmont, WV on July 27, 1936 to Chester and Marguerite (Kendzior) Rodesky, who preceded him in death. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Doris Jean (Arnett) Rodesky, of Beavercreek; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Scott and Dana Rodesky, of Colorado Springs, CO and Cole Rodesky, of Kettering, OH; a daughter and son-in-law, Eva and Mike Riley, of Fairborn; a brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Martha Rodesky, of Bowling Green, OH and three grandchildren, Ryan Rodesky, Garrett and Harrison Riley. He was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church in Beavercreek and had retired after 27 years of service as the Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds for the Kettering School System. Richard was a graduate of West Virginia University, where he played football. He enjoyed deer hunting and was an avid fan of college football. Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14, 2012, at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road. Pastor John Schlicher will be officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Park Cemetery.
