Richard Lee Yount, age 80, of Fairborn, Ohio passed away at his home on June 9, 2026. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on October 10, 1945, to the late Myrtle M. and Donald E. Yount. Alongside his parents Richard is preceded in death by his loving wife Patricia Yount, Brothers; Bill, Jim, Charles, and Norman Yount, Sisters; Judy Shade and Helen Bruns.
Richard is survived by his Children; Donald (Melissa) Yount, Daniel Yount, Grandson; Kasey Yount, and Sister; Beverly Jean Ruckman.
Richard was a Navy Veteran having served in Vietnam on the USS Boxer. After his time in the Navy Richard served as a reserved Police Officer during the 80’s in Xenia, Ohio and worked at AT&T where he later retired. Richard was also a licensed minister at the Church of Brethren.
Richard will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
