Matz, Rita Anne, age 72 of Dayton, OH, formerly of Erie, PA, passed away on March 16, 2023. Preceded in death by her husband Darryl Matz, Sr., parents Leo and Marcella Fetzner, and siblings Jean Brown, Carl Fetzner, and Charles Fetzner.
Rita is survived by her daughters, Heather (Christopher) Enders and Trina (Jerry) Clark, son Darryl Matz II, siblings Nancy Snyder of Erie, PA, twin sister Ruth (Patrick) Wynne of Erie, PA, Jon (Fran) Fetzner of Waterford, PA, and James (Jan) Fetzner of Waterford, PA. Also survived by grandchildren, Trantz, Lane, Kennedy, Starla, and Thomas, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Rita graduated from Academy High School in Erie, Pa. She was a very talented seamstress, and worked for the Boston Store in Erie before moving to Huber Heights, where she worked at a few Kroger locations in the area.
