We met Rita 40 years ago when we moved in next to her and Jim. We had so many good times In our new neighborhood. We kept in contact after Rita and Jim moved to Ohio. We were happy when they purchased a condo in Largo so we could see again. Rita was such a kind soul. Such a thoughtful person. Will miss her a lot. ❤️❤️❤️

Dear Jim,

I am so very, very sorry to hear of Rita's passing. She was a joy to be with and talk to. So kind, caring, generous, loving and good friend who always made each person know how special they were to her.

Our F-16 Alumni family was brighter with her and less so without her. Please know you and your family are in our prayers and knowing Rita and all who have gone before her will be together again one day.

Thank you for sharing her with us Jim.

Jim & Family
Gwen and I are very heavy hearted with the passing of your great love and our dear, dear friend Rita who like you became an important part of our family for the past 27 years! Rita was an individual with such a kind heart with a giving spirit of love and faithfulness regarding her family and friends alike. We are so thankful to have been blessed with the opportunity that God granted us in knowing and loving you and Rita!
There simply are no words that can truly convey how deeply we feel with her going home to be with the Lord. But one thing we are certain of is that Jesus gladly welcomed her home to eternity with open arms and unending love. Jesus has set her free from all the cares, trials, tribulations and pain of this world; she is now at peace and resting in His everlasting arms until that great getting up morning when you will be forever reunited with the love of your life where there is no more hurt, pain, hate or suffering of any kind!
May God grant you peace, strength, courage, and faith to hold onto all the positive memories that you and Rita built together during your long life of love together. Please know that Gwen and I will continue to keep you and the family lifted in prayer and that you can count on us in your time of need for the long haul!
Love Always!

I have met Marion's mom quite a few times over the years at the Fraser's place. She is an extremely friendly and a pleasant person. Two things come to my mind when remember her today.

(1) I can't remember when I met her the first time. But I do remember the second time. When I introduced myself, thinking that she may not remember me, she burst out laughing and saying "of course I remember you, you poured the red wine on top of the white wine you are already drinking half hour ago. I was shell shocked. I thought no one had noticed my silly act and had just gotten get rid of my wine cocktail. She got me there. Then I introduced myself again, properly this time.

(2) I have had the opportunity of dining with her one time along with rest of the Frasers. Marion had made an excellent vegetarian soup for me that day. When Hamish said to Rita that I was a vegetarian, she got up and came to my side of the table and filled my soup bowl again. Such a nice lady she was.
We will all miss her.

From the moment I met Rita at International Wives' Group, I knew she was a person I wanted to be around. Her personality just grabbed you and brought you into her presence. She started right off trying to get me to speak German and I did give it a valiant effort. We had so many good times in IWG, OWC, Coffee group, Couples Gourmet but the best times were just having impromptu coffee at her home where she would magically transform her table into a delightful collection of coffee, pastries (especially her never ending supply of stollen) cookies and wonderful German table linens. She made you feel special. Rita loved her friends and through the years I could be sure she would call me on my birthday no matter where I was. Rita, you will always be in my heart and a precious friend.

Rita was quite the fashionista! She loved Chico’s! She always wore colorful coordinating outfits accented with fun jewelry! She always looked her best! We would always share shopping notes and ideas! Correct! She would say! I loved talking with her and listening to her German accent. I will miss sharing thoughts, secrets and stories with her. Auf Wiedersehen Rita! RIP!
