DALTON, Robert W. “Bob”, USAF MSgt Ret., age 64 of Beavercreek, passed away at home on Friday, December 29, 2017. Bob is preceded in death by his parents Robert C. and J. Sue Dalton. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Terri (Whitmore) Dalton, daughters Kristina (Dan) Thomas, Elizabeth (Ryan) Shafer, grandchildren Joe Thomas, Natalie Thomas, Cole Shafer,sister Linda (Mike) Keith and numerous brothers and sisters in-law, nieces and nephews. Bob entered the United States Air Force in 1973 and retired in 1995. During his military career, he was stationed around the world serving the United States in many wonderful nations. He currently was employed as a network engineer for DNI (Delaware Nation Industries), assigned to the 88th Communications Group at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at the Tobias Funeral Home – Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd. with interment to follow in Valley View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 2. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fisher House.
