HARPEST, Robert Eugene age 94 of Dayton, Ohio passed away on Wednesday August 14, 2024, at home. He was born on November 17, 1929, in Dayton to Kenneth and Elfreda (Fritz) (Counts) Harpest. His parents preceded him in death.
He married Theresa Ann (May) Harpest and she preceded him in passing on September 6th, 2022. They were married for 70 years. Surviving family includes his sons, Robert (Diane) Harpest Jr. and their children Lindsay (Cisco) Silvestri, Robby, Cara and Christie and great granddaughter Alina, and John (Brenda) Harpest and their children Alexia (Matt) Schwab and Yolanda (Mike) Evers and great grandchildren Carter, Tolek, Gracelynn, Zoey and Kyndal, Kyleigh (Austin) (Great, Great Grandchildren AJ & Kystin), Robert was a custom home builder owning his construction business. He was a life member of the Dayton Masonic Lodge 0147.
The family will have a short visitation on Thursday, August 22, 2024, from 9:00 A.M. to 9:30A.M. followed by a service at the Tobias Funeral Home, 648 Watervliet Ave., Dayton, Ohio.
