

Bob joined the Air Force at the age of 18 pursuing a career in aerial photography, serving two tours in Vietnam and one as a photography contractor in Belarus. Upon returning, Bob opened a photography business called, HAS Images and located at 136 N St. Clair St. in Downtown Dayton.
Following his service, Bob was an active member in the VFW Post 8312, serving as Commander, and Canteen Manager. After his tenures, he remained a regular face around the post, maintaining and building friendships that would last the rest of his life.
Bob is preceded in death by his mother, Mildred, father, Joseph, sister, Marlene and great-granddaughter, Caroline. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Marcella Luka, his son, Frank (Teresa) Luka, his step-daughter, Becky Pack, his step-son Alan (Christine) Pack, his grandchildren, Brittany (Michael) Thomas, Sara (Marcus) Lykins, Aaron (Marissa) Luka, Christina Behme, Michael Pack, and his great-grandchildren Sawyer and Evelyn.
A viewing will take place at Tobias Funeral Home in Beavercreek, Ohio on February 9th, 2026 from 11-12 pm, followed by a funeral service from 12-1 pm. A burial service will take place at Valley View Memorial Gardens from 2-3 pm.
