He was the son of the late Robert and Mary McCloskey. Surviving are his sisters Beverly Ramseyer of Smithville, Ohio, Deborah Simon (John) of Centerville, Ohio and brother Timothy McCloskey (Barbara) of Denver, Colorado.
He attended Fairview High School, graduated from Fairmont High School and the University of Dayton and was retired from Northrup Grumman. Golf, tennis, skiing, motor car racing, technology and music were his favorite pastimes and he was an ardent fan of the Dayton Flyers. He will be deeply missed. Services to be held privately for family. In lieu of flowers, family asks donations be made to Hospice of Dayton.
