MCGARVEY, Robert D., age 64, of Kettering, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013. He is preceded in death by his father, William McGarvey and his Grandmother and Grandfather. Robert is survived by his mother, Lill McGarvey, sister, Judith Walker (Gary), brother, Tom McGarvey, one niece and one nephew, seven great nieces and nephews, and three great-great nieces and nephews. He worked for the city of Dayton for over 20 years and was inducted into the Regional DD Hall of Fame in 2006. Services will take place at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet Ave. at Fauver, on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 2:00 pm. Family and friends may call on the funeral home from 1:00 pm until the time of service. Burial will take place at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
