PUTERBAUGH, Robert Lee, of Dayton, 88, passed away peacefully Sunday, September 16, 2018 with his family at his side. Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 57 years, Blanche N. Puterbaugh in 2012. He leaves to cherish his memory two sons Craig Puterbaugh and Peg Sams of Kettering, and Kevin Puterbaugh of Texas. Also surviving are his beloved grandchildren Ciara (Travis) Hunter and their children Elliot, Alena, Vivian; Lindsey (Mike) Slanker, Lauren, Sophia, and Carling Puterbaugh, who are all very thankful for Pa's support and love. Bob was a 1950 graduate of Roosevelt High School, 1959 graduate of the University of Dayton (BS in Mechanical Engineering). He was also a US Air Force A1C Veteran after serving 4 years, 2 in Japan. He was an avid Red's, Flyers fan. He also enjoyed playing euchre with friends, and listening to jazz and Big Band music. There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME, 648 Watervliet Avenue, Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. A Celebration of Bob's life will be Friday, September 21, 2018 at the GLEN HAVEN MEMORIAL PARK CHAPEL, 8200 West National Road, New Carlisle 45344.
