Robert "Bob" Edward Stegman, age 87, of Dayton, Ohio passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024. Bob was born in Dayton, OH. where he grew up and graduated high school in 1954. After graduation he enlisted in the Navy in 1956. He served as a gunner on the ship the U.S.S. Northampton. Bob was employed by Monarch Marking Systems Company in Dayton for 30 years. He retired from Monarch (then part of Pitney Bowes) in 1998. After his retirement Bob met his wife Glenna (Farmer) Stegman while caring for his older sister. They were married in Hawaii in 2004 and celebrated 17 years together. Through his wife Bob inherited a loving step family. He was preceded in death by Glenna in 2022. A funeral service for Bob will be held Friday, February 16, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Tobias Funeral Home - Far Hills Chapel, 5471 Far Hills Ave, Dayton, Ohio 45429. Bob will be laid to rest in Dayton Memorial Park, 8135 N. Dixie Dr., Dayton, Ohio 45414.
